How Squatch CC uses text messages.
Plain-language disclosure of our text-message program: who sends, what we send, how you opt in, and how to stop.
Who sends the messages
Text messages from Squatch CC are sent by Squatch.CC LLC (Springfield, Missouri, United States) through Twilio, our A2P 10DLC messaging provider. Only people who have explicitly opted in on the Let's talk form receive messages from us.
What we send
- Booking confirmations — the confirmation and any change to a scheduled intro call you booked with us.
- Receipts — a text acknowledgement for engagements or payments where a text receipt is useful.
- Occasional service updates — short, relevant notes tied to work we're doing for you (e.g., a project handoff, a scheduling change, or an important status update).
We do not send marketing blasts, promotional campaigns, or third-party offers over SMS. If a text isn't tied to a conversation you already have with us, we won't send it.
How you opt in
The only way to opt in is by ticking the dedicated SMS-consent checkbox on the Let's talk intake form and providing your mobile number. The checkbox is unchecked by default, is separate from any other agreement, and is not required to contact us — you can submit the form without it and we'll still reply by email.
The exact disclosure shown next to the checkbox:
"I agree to receive text messages from Squatch CC (booking confirmations, receipts, and occasional service updates) at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms."
Message frequency & carrier costs
Message frequency varies based on the shape of the engagement. Typical: a handful of messages per active project. If nothing is going on, you won't hear from us over SMS.
Msg & data rates may apply. Squatch CC does not charge for messages, but your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply to every text you send or receive from us.
How to stop (opt out)
Reply STOP to any message from us and you will receive one final confirmation text, then no further messages. You can also opt out at any time by emailing hello@squatch.cc with the subject line STOP SMS and the mobile number you'd like removed.
Standard keywords we recognize: STOP, END,
CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT.

Reply HELP to any message from us and you'll receive a short text with our support address. You can also reach a human directly at hello@squatch.cc or through the Let's talk form.
Privacy & sharing
Mobile numbers collected for SMS are used only for the messages described above. We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile number, or your consent to receive SMS from us, to any third party for marketing purposes. Numbers are stored in our own self-hosted CRM (Twenty) and transmitted only to Twilio, our messaging provider, strictly to deliver the messages you opted in to receive.
